I know that the container has a size restriction of 3 x 5, but what is the other dimension? It may have been there and I just missed it, I don't want any of the packages to get disqualified for it.
I don't think there's any restriction as far as depth is concerned. There are many "shades of gray" on this topic. Sometimes it depends on the mood of the person at the counter. We've been real lucky. The people in my post office are thrilled to see us come in. The folks in back of me don't have the same level of enthusiasm. DON'T mail them on a Saturday. At least in Massachusetts, that's when the lines are the longest!
