cc?

Hello all!

This is my first year teaching 6th grade and the first year teaching in a departmentalized format (I'm not a Science teacher by nature). I do not know how to figure out cubic centimeters. Can someone help?

Misha,

If your package has a regular shape, measure the length, width, and height in centimeters (cm), then multiply the three together to get the volume in cubic centimeters (cc). If the package doesn't have a regular shape, that becomes tricky. You can find the volume by displacement by wrapping the package in plastic and placing it into a container of water and measuring the volume of water displaced.
